Making a short Film
The best and most rewarding way for a group to learn filmmaking is by making a short marketing video. Therefore this part of the morning session will be dedicated to making a film using some of the methods and ideas outlined during the earlier session.

Our work with the group is very ‘hands on’ and each member will have an important role to play as part of the crew e.g. operating the camera, sound equipment, clapper board etc. Crew roles will be rotated as much as possible so that the group will experience every aspect of the process.

The group will use broadcast quality equipment and state of the art technology and be mentored by a professional director (Gary Halliday) and one of our team of senior Mentors.

Lunch 1.00pm-2.00pm

Afternoon Session Editing Workshop 2pm-4.30pm

We will demonstrate how the footage shot in the morning session together with music can be crafted into an engaging, entertaining and informative short, corporate, film.

We will show you how to upload the video to social media channels i.e. YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram

A handout covering the workshop will be given to all students.

There will be the opportunity for a Q&A session with our mentors.
